The JRSO team arranged a Be Bright Be Seen day to remind children to wear visible clothing to keep safe.
This Autumn the Year 6 children took part in bikeability training led by Bexley Council Road Safety officers.
Year 5 and Year 6 children are invited to take part in road safety cycle training as part of their transition into secondary school.
During Walk to School Week the children had the opportunity to walk a lap of the field if they hadn't managed to walk to school that day, therefore they could still earn the sticker for their class charts.
Year 3 Pedestrian Training
As part of promoting active travel and keeping children safe, in Year 3, the children sign up to take part in pedestrian training. This is delivered by trained staff to teach the children rules and awareness when travelling and crossing near roads.
