If your child/children are using an Android Device to access Google Classroom, they may be having some trouble using Google Docs.

This could be down to the web browser that you are using on the device. 

If you are having this difficulty, you will need to download Google Chrome on that device and use that as the web browser to access Google Classroom. This should allow you to access Google Classroom and edit Google Docs without issues.
