I am immensely proud to be Head of Pelham Primary School- where every child is given the best education and variety of opportunities to help them to fulfil their potential. We have high expectations for every child who attends our school and we encourage them to develop academically, physically, creatively, socially and emotionally. Our highly-qualified staff work hard to ensure that Pelham Primary School is full of happy children who really do DREAM BIG!

We work in partnership with parents and carers to provide opportunities for our pupils to be Determined, Resilient, Enthusiastic, Always respectful, Mindful, Brave and Inclusive as, ultimately, we are Growing minds for the future. We have an open-door policy and pride ourselves on developing strong partnerships with parents/carers in order to support your child both at home and in school. We know that we can only achieve the best for your children by close co-operation between home and school and this relationship starts on your child’s very first day here at Pelham.

Inclusion is central to our values and as such, Pelham Primary School welcomes all learners, with every child having the opportunity to learn in a nurturing environment. We celebrate differences but also recognise and praise the achievement and effort of every child and staff member in our school community. Although the school incorporates the only Specialist Resource Provision for primary-aged deaf and hard-of-hearing pupils in Bexley, the children attending this provision are fully included in school life and are taught within the mainstream classes with signing support where necessary.
